Luckily, if it happens sooner rather than later, you’ll be able to make a splash at Discovery Canyon in Alberta.

Located in Red Deer, halfway between Calgary and Edmonton, this family-friendly waterpark is a ton of fun, no matter your age – especially on days when you need to cool off.

In addition to a beach, Discovery Canyon has a lazy river where guests can climb aboard a tube and relax for the day – but it gets better!

It’s totally FREE to visit, however, if you want to rent an inflatable, you’ll have to pay $5 to ride.

Starting to feel like a prune?

Check out everything else the recreational area has to offer, from the golf course and green spaces to the restaurant.

The only catch is that you’ll have to leave your furry friends at home because dogs are not allowed to tag along.

If you’re an eager beaver, Discovery Canyon opens on June 1st, so pack your bags and don’t forget to put on sunscreen!

For more information or to book a tee time, check out their website below and enjoy.
