The sun is out, the birds are singing, and sleeping on the ground is starting to look mighty appealing… in a tent, of course! For intrepid explorers and lovers of the great outdoors, there is no better time of year than camping season in Alberta. If you’ve been itching to get out there, or you never stopped, here are a few Alberta parks and campgrounds that are officially open for May bookings.
As per usual, individual campsites and backcountry camping reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance of your arrival date. Comfort Camping and Group Camping Area reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance.
Here’s a list of Alberta parks and campgrounds open for May camping.
To see the most up-to-date list of available camping sites or to book now, check out the Alberta Parks website.
Time to pitch a tent and enjoy the great outdoors!
