G’day, fellow travellers! And what a g’day it is, since Air Canada has announced that it’s expanding services to Australia starting in May. The news comes hot off the heels of Australia once more opening its borders for visitors, so we think there’s definitely some pent up demand.

There are three main routes that are coming back or expanding this summer, and all of them are flying out of Vancouver. Maybe most importantly, flights to Sydney will increase to a daily schedule starting at the beginning of May.

Alongside that change, two more Air Canada Australia routes will return later this summer and fall. A Vancouver-Brisbane route will return four times weekly starting on July 1st. And to round things out, a Vancouver-Auckland route returns three times weekly on November 10th, just in time for the start of summer down there! Which we have a hard time wrapping our heads around, we’ll admit it.

So, whether you’re hoping to get away for a vacation, or trying to live a bootleg version of The Endless Summer, know that you’ll have way more opportunities to now.
