You may think enchanted forests only exist in fairytales, but we’ve got one right here in Ontario. AGORA: Path of Light in Blue Mountain whisks you away on an open-air gondola to a magical night walk through the woods.

“AGORA is an unusual and magical space inspired by storytellers and cycles of life in nature,” the description says.

“As participants walk this circular path, they will encounter a series of interactive lighting installations based on the five elements of air, space, earth, water and fire.”

You’ll get to wander through an illuminated landscape of LED lights, glowing mushrooms, and wolves, with the starry night sky twinkling above you.

Industry leaders from all over Canada participated in the creation of AGORA, including the world’s best interactive art and light technology producers, an Ojibwe language professor, an Anishinaabek healer, and more.

Together, they have “brought to life the spirit of the forest,” and created an experience that attempts to interpret “what the forest would tell us if we could find a common language of light and sound.”
