Remember concerts? And, like, live performance events in general? Man, we miss those. Well, one day in the not-so-far future we’re in for an incredible return of live shows. In fact, OverActive Media just confirmed that we’ll even have a brand new performance venue to host ’em!

Mark your calendars, people! Because spring 2025 is when this insane project is set to be complete. The almost $500 million performance venue is sure to become a staple spot in the city.
It’ll be the first new sports or entertainment venue built in Toronto since the BMO field in 2007. Plus, it’s incredible design is seriously unparalleled.
So what can we expect? Along with looking incredibly cool, the OverActive Media performance venue will be a premier spot for music, entertainment, and more. The facility has plans to host over 200 entertainment events per year. Plus, city-wide conventions, corporate gatherings, award shows, and sports.
The architectural masterpiece is set to call the Toronto waterfront its home. The four-acre property will be stationed on the north side of Lakeshore Blvd, just across from Ontario Place.
As we mentioned, it’s not set to be complete until spring 2025. But we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the project until then.
