A renovated rooftop patio with gardens & flowers opens in Vancouver this week

Well, we might have found a new must-visit spot for the next sunny day in Vancouver. We just received the rundown on the newly renovated rooftop patio at Black+Blue in downtown Vancouver, and we have to say that it’s looking fantastic. Here’s what you can expect.

While we’d describe the old look as moody or cozy, the new patio has taken a decidedly different approach. Now, you’ll be dining in a more light and airy setting, complete with custom flower installations and a fun new garden pergola. In a nutshell, they’ve swapped the “martini and an old fashioned” vibe for “mimosas and gin and tonics”.

We’re down for it. While we liked the old rooftop patio, we have to say the new aesthetic is a much better match for summer in the city. Plus, Black+Blue is releasing a new West Coast-focused food menu. So, expect new seafood options alongside their classic dishes.
