The lower mainland has a new place to check out and it has a really cool focus. Located in Richmond, Bruno is a sustainability-focused restaurant serving farm-fresh meals in the beautiful Versante Hotel. Oh, and the interior is absolutely gorgeous!

Yeah folks, that’s right. A whole restaurant dedicated to sustainability. How come this is one of the first places we’re hearing that have this focus? With the way our food industry is going, it seems like a really good idea.

The restaurant is going to serve a whole bunch of BC-inspired dishes which include truffle lavender duck, smoked salmon and ikura flatbread and much more. Realistically, if it’s getting its food inspo from BC, it’s basically guaranteed to be delicious!

At the helm of the restaurant are Chef Will Lew and general manager Brad Stanton. Stanton has been in the restaurant and bar industry in Vancouver since 2003. And his joints have won many “best of Vancouver” awards. So, what we’re trying to tell you is that this place is in good hands.

Bruno is only open for Hotel Versante guests until August 29, but will be open to the public starting then. If the dishes at Bruno are piquing your interest, you better get your reservation fast! We have a feeling this is going to be a popular place.
