We honestly believe that no matter your budget anyone can and should feel like a million dollars. Now, this certainly isn’t a hot take, but it’s not every day that a store is truly willing to make it a reality. This month, make room in your closet, or just donate to the incredible inventory held by wonder company Good Neighbour – a one-of-a-kind thrift store making fashion more affordable than ever.
Located on 149 Fifth Avenue S.E., GN will sell everything from books, plants, food and of course, clothing – all of which will not have any price tags at all.
Instead, the inner city market just asks that you pay what you can – whether that be a few dollars, cents or double what the item is worth in addition to a donation to the store itself, it’s totally up to you! Amazing, right?

Now you may be asking, how in the heck this is possible and the answer is really quite simple. Calgary has a lot of really amazing people.
With a little help from volunteer electricians, painters and staff, Good Neighbour will be ready to go and making a difference by July 24th – so mark your calendars. In fact, the entire store is being run by volunteers!
Actually, while you’re at it, give them a follow on Instagram and check your closet for anything that you may not be using anymore.
They’re taking donations now, folks, so if you can – we encourage you to contribute to one of the coolest community-built projects we’ve seen in a while.
