As the air gets colder, we find ourselves instinctively craving foods that will comfort us from the inside out. From garlic bread to pasta, we’re convinced that it’s actually Italian restaurants that will help us through the chillier season and just as luck would have it, Calgary actually just got a brand spot where we can enjoy such tastiness – Grande Amore.
Located on 4th Street in the downtown community of Mission, Grande Amore serves a small (but mighty) selection of heritage classics.

Though we can’t speak directly to what their food tastes like (because they only just opened), we can’t imagine that it’s anything but delish – after all, the majority of their menu is carb-based!
Of course, in addition to bready goodness, they also have salmon and gnocchi, risotto, ribeye, and cakes.
If you’d like to check them out yourself, they are open from Wednesday to Sunday only between 6 pm and 11 pm for dinner service.
Heck, maybe we’ll see you guys there!
