A new country bar called Honky Tonk opens today on 10th Ave in time for Stampede

Gear up people, something amazing has come to town, and we don’t mean Stampede. But something that definitely matches the Stampede vibe.  From the folks who gave us iconic eat-drink-hangout spots like Flirty Bird, Scuba Jays and College Bar, is yet another unreal offering— Honky Tonk!

The country bar set up shop on 10th Ave, and has just opened doors to the public, just in time for the Stampede season.

In Honky Tonk fashion, the bar boasts everything a true country bar ought to have. There’ll be live music every single day. And there is a dedicated dance floor for us to show off those Line Dance moves. You can expect great cocktails, craft beer and aged whiskeys- among others.

The city is gearing up for a big Stampede season, and we’re gearing up for many days & nights spent in this new bar fully immersed in the country spirit.

We’ll see you on the d-floor, Calgary!
