There’s not a whole lot that’ll break your heart like seeing a ‘missing’ poster for someone’s pet. Luckily, through the power of social media, being able to reunite a lost pooch with its ower is incredibly likely – especially if the person who found the four-legged cutie has 3.2 million Instagram followers like Puerto Rican Rapper Nejo El Broko.
El Broko, who has worked with various artists including Wyclef Jean, took to Instagram Monday evening posting a video and a few photos of an offwhite Shia Tzu named Nelly and her bright purple tag, which can be seen below engraved with 403 contact information and ‘Calgary, AB’ clear as day.
The missing dog, who was is believed to be found in Davenport, Florida, was a long freaking way from her hometown and appeared to be healthy but in dire need of a haircut – one that she actually received the following morning from a local mobile grooming company.

Comments were pretty positive, praising the musician for spreading the word about a dog lost so far out from the border. The best part? It looks like it paid off!
Not only did he really did a great job of taking care of little Nell, but according to his most recent post, he managed to find her owners – which was especially impressive considering the phone numbers on the tag were out of service.
