A massive ‘Candy Land’ immersive experience is opening soon in the GTA

Have you ever wanted to know what it’s like to live inside of the game Candy Land? Well, Sugar Rush Toronto, a new immersive open-air experience with 40,000 sq ft of colourful installations all inspired by candy is probably the closest you’ll get. All that sugary goodness is only happening for a month so let’s get into the details.

Sugar Rush Toronto is happening at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga and will transform an otherwise mundane parking lot into “pure Candytropolis” from August 6th to September 6th. You’ll get to walk among larger-than-life candy art displays which will provide you with tons of Insta pic opportunities. Additionally, you can watch live performances, custom parade floats, and experience candy-powered interactions.

For those of you who are real hardcore sweet tooths, it’s also worth mentioning that candy is included in your ticket. Not to mention there are also dessert vendors at the event that you can buy additional goodies from for the ultimate sugar rush (sorry we had to). Oh, and you can even bring your pups on specific dog-friendly days which are August 8th, 13th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 26th, 28th, and September 2nd & 5th.

To make things even sweeter, Sugar Rush is produced in aid of Epilepsy Toronto. So that means you can have fun all while knowing that you’re supporting a good cause. Now if you’re ready to have the Candy Land adventure of your dreams be sure to buy tickets ASAP as they’re on sale now and we have a feeling that this event will sell out.
