A lost Vancouver dog was found after a two-week stint on Grouse Mountain

Sometimes we all need a little time on the slopes. But one BC dog took this to a new level, having just been rescued after spending two weeks on Grouse Mountain.

According to Grouse Mountain’s social posts, Luna, a three-year-old Jindo, went missing from North Vancouver’s Lower Lonsdale on November 29. And in true BC nature, she went on a little adventure, eventually ending up on Grouse Mountain. Luckily, some sharp-eyed resort staff members spotted her under the  Olympic Express chairlift on Tuesday.

The staff members crawled under to help her get out and then wrapped her up in a sweater before crating her to reunite her with her owners. The video in the tweet above shows the reunion in full.

Now, whether Luna spent the full two weeks on Grouse Mountain is unclear. Either way, little Luna has certainly earned her stripes and badges.
