If you’re looking for something new to check out this summer in Metro Vancouver, then keep in mind a brand new lavender farm that is getting ready to open! Located in Richmond, Lavenderland has actually been around since 2017. But, this is the first time the space will be open to the public! Let’s check it out.

Set just off Steveston Highway, Lavenderland sits on 8 acres, and a whopping 7 of those are devoted to lavender. The area is filled with 4 different varieties of lavender, including the quintessential ‘Superblue’. These lavenders bloom at different times throughout the year, so you’ll always have something to check out.

Guests will have 2 hours to explore the fields, plus will be able to visit a retail store for lavender products after the visit. There’s also a plant sale, an activity centre, and a picnic area on the property, so you’ll have plenty of ways to fill up the visit.

But, heads up that you’ll need to book your ticket in advance for the foreseeable future. So, no visiting on a whim after lunch at CF Richmond Centre or something. Even still, we think this brand new activity in the city is worth checking out! For more details, click the link below.
