A highly-anticipated Thai spot just opened in Toronto

The wait is over on a brand new second location of Pai Toronto! This popular spot just opened its doors in Uptown Yonge and it’s already become the talk of the town. Of course, given the quality and authentic flavours this spot is serving up, we can’t say we’re surprised at all by it popularity.

So Pai Toronto was originally born out of one man’s backpacking trip to Northern Thailand. While there, he met a woman named Nuit. They’ve got an adorable love story that you can read all about here, but what we’re really interested in is the food. Nuit was a nurse, moonlighting as a chef in Thailand, where the couple opened their first restaurant. Her incredible abilities in the kitchen brought in loads of customers, from locals to travellers. So when the couple moved to Canada, it was no surprise her talents were well appreciated here as well.

Pai Toronto is only one of the family of restaurants this couple’s created. But we’ve got to say, it’s one of the best. The spot serves up authentic Northern Thai favourites like Grabong, Thai Chicken Wings, Khao Soi, Pad Gra Prow, and, of course, Chef Nuit’s signature Pad Thai. Plus, the Uptown Yonge location launched a new set of menu items including Pad See Ew, Khao Pad Baan Nok, and a whole host of vegan options.

So experience some of the best authentic Thai cuisine this city’s got to offer and support a local spot all in one. Pai Toronto is open for takeout or delivery.
