A city-wide poutine festival for a good cause hits Calgary this month!

It’s back, YYC! We hope that you guys are hungry because the 11th annual Poutine with Purpose festival will take over Calgary this April in support of buy-one-give-one organization, Mealshare!

For one week only, Calgarians will be encouraged to participate in this huge do good, eat good event, by ordering an original poutine from a festival partner. In exchange, for every dish sold, one healthy meal going to a youth in need.

In addition to this, Poutine with Purpose will also be an incredible opportunity to show local restaurants some love, which now more than ever, could mean the world.

Basically, through this week-long event, you’ll be doing some incredible things simply by lifting a fork. Could it get any easier than that?

For more information and this year’s participants (which have yet to be announced) check out their website here and prepare yourselves, Calgary. It’s about to get seriously cheesy.
