There is now yet another way to enjoy scenic West Vancouver. A new, 200-meter long wooden trestle bridge over Cave Creek is finally open to the public. To make things even more special, the trestle bridge is lit up for the holiday season making it the perfect scenic holiday light experience.

The trestle bridge is part of the British Properties 5 km multi-use paved trail system known as The Mountain Path. It winds through the forest and leads to a host of recreational opportunities as well as different neighborhoods. When it comes to access for the general public, folks will be able to visit the trestle bridge every weekend during the holiday season.

Part of the fun of checking out the trestle bridge is, of course, the walk and the view but visitors are also encouraged to check out the pop-up village on the future site of Cypress Village. Here you can grab a cup of hot chocolate or coffee at The Shed to make your stroll a bit warmer. After all, you’re going to want to take your time when checking out the trestle bridge so you can see the inspiration from railway trestle bridges that helps this new walkway blend in so seamlessly with its surrounding nature.

You don’t want to miss out on exploring the trestle as the lit-up experience is only happening during the holidays. After the holidays, the lights will return to a motion sensor system after 10 pm so don’t miss out on seeing it all lit up.
