As we near Alberta’s short, but highly anticipated spooky season, knowing where to go will be crucial – after all, tickets to almost everything are limited and it all comes and goes in the blink of an eye. One of our favourite places to get a good scare? DARK, a haunting carnival held at Fort Edmonton Park and here’s what we know about their 2022 festival so far.
Back for another year of creepy carnival goodness, delicious food and freakishly tasty cocktails – this unique event will yet again, be unlike anything else in the city – but don’t just take our word for it!

Starting October 7th you’ll be able to check it out for yourself, but don’t forget to bring a friend… perhaps one that you can outrun.
With three ‘wicked’ experiences (Under The Big Top, Blood Harvest and 3 AM: Dead of Night), live entertainment, and much much more, guests will be encouraged to walk around, explore and scream until they completely lose their voice.
It’s really is a blast.
