Not sure what to do with your friends, family or special someone this week? We’ve got just the thing! Offering music, fun and free admission, Calgary’s Contemporary Calgary has announced the launch of their new ‘First Free Thursday’ series, a celebration of art and community!

With guided tours of their current exhibits, Robert Houle: Red is Beautiful and Chris Curreri: That, There, It, guests are encouraged to visit the building previously occupied by the Science Centre for a unique late-night experience.

In addition to the gallery itself, enjoy live performances by the Antyx Youth Hip Hop Club, a DJ set by Hot Sauce Boogie and drinks courtesy of the sugar water bar.

The best part? Well, just as the name would imply – this exciting evening will be totally FREE to attend on July 7th, with similar events to follow on the first Thursday of every month afterward.
