It’s tall, it’s fast, and it’s open! North America’s largest elevated go-kart racecourse, the Niagara Speedway, is a must for the bucket list.

Towering over forty-two feet high, the Niagara Speedway is a world-class attraction that combines the adrenaline-inducing thrill of kart racing with the remarkable experience of a roller coaster ride.

Canada’s Wonderland

Canada’s premier amusement park is reopening on May 5th with new rides and entertainment for visitors to enjoy.

This season, visitors will get to experience the gravity-defying rollercoaster, Tundra Twister, for the first time.

Also new to Wonderland this year is the new launch coaster called Snoopy’s Racing Railway, and it’ll take riders on a wild adventure.

Plus, a brand new food festival will join the lineup this season — Taste of Brazil will run from August 19th to 20th with delicious Latin American food and entertainment, including samba dancing.

Centreville Amusement Park

Island lovers in Toronto, listen up! Centre Island’s iconic Centreville Amusement Park is set to reopen on May 6th, 2023.

If you’ve never been, Centreville is a ferry ride away from downtown Toronto and has over 30 rides and attractions for the family. It also has several food outlets and is surrounded by 600 acres of parkland.

Whether you’re spinning in the Twirling Tea Cups, or bouncing around in Bumper Boats and Bumper Cars, the fun doesn’t stop, especially on those perfect summer days in Toronto.

Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster

The Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster consists of over 100 metres of track that runs throughout the mountain terrain and you get to control the speed.

You can take it slow and steady, and really take in all the sights. Or you can ramp it up to 42 km/hr for a more exhilarating ride.

The Ridge Runner has been a fan favourite for years and it’s open all year round.

Niagara Whirlpool Aerocar

Niagara’s Whirlpool Aero car has reopened for the season, whisking you high above the rushing Niagara River in an antique cable car.

As you glide through the air, you’ll have a perfect view of the fascinating phenomenon that is the Niagara Whirlpool.

The experience is described as “sometimes frightening and always unforgettable,” so consider this your warning!

Don’t worry, the cable car is held up by six sturdy cables to keep you safe during your airborne adventure.

Zipline to the Falls

WildPlay’s Zipline to the Falls is an amazing rush that soars high above the gorge from Grand View Marketplace toward the breathtaking natural phenomenon of Niagara Falls.

You’ll travel down 670 metres (2,200 feet), past the American Falls and land at the base of the Horseshoe Falls on the observation deck.

It doesn’t matter if you are 7 or 97, this experience is fun for everyone — and it’s open year-round!

Scenic Caves Nature Adventures Bridge

Did you know Southern Ontario’s longest suspension bridge is about two hours away from Toronto?

Located at Scenic Caves Nature Adventures, the suspension footbridge is accessible year-round (weather dependent) and makes for a true adventure in any season.

“For 420 feet, you’re suspended high above the snowy forest floor with expansive views surrounding you 360 degrees. On a clear day, you can see 10,000 square kilometres – to the far side of Georgian Bay and beyond,” states their website.

Described as Ontario’s top-rated outdoor attraction, this park offers an “exhilarating adventure of ziplining, climbing, and swinging your way through the lush forest canopy,” according to the description.

You’ll be feeling like a kid again while you travel from tree to tree on suspended bridges, Tarzan swings, swinging logs, cable traverses, and of course, ziplines!
