We all love a good cafe, especially a brand new one! Bake Shop is Seattle’s newest cafe and venture from Hot Cakes former director of operations Krista Nelson and London Plane alum Madeline McDonald. What sets this new cafe apart is its dedication to staying low waste.

Bake Shop believes that “a responsible business takes care of the planet.” That’s why they work to reduce waste through sourcing in bulk, working with local farms, and not using single-use plastic in their kitchen. They also encourage customers to bring their own mugs and to-go containers, offering $.25 off when you bring your own cup.

Bake Shop is an all-day café meaning you’ll find a menu full of options like house-made baked goods, sourdough bread, as well as a small savory menu with toasts, sandwiches, and salads. Additionally, you can sip on coffee, loose leaf teas, beer, and wine. Give them a visit for breakfast, lunch, or before the next show at Climate Pledge Arena.

Or you can always order online for pick up if you’d rather enjoy your eats at home. Be sure to double-check Bake Shop’s socials for hours before you head out. Enjoy folks!
