Listen, we all know Canada is filled with some of the most gorgeous and stunning places to be in the world. From the north to south, east to west! But, Canada’s own Vancouver Island was just listed by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 places in the world to travel to this year.
And, it’s really no surprise to us. It’s full of lush rainforests, high mountains, and ocean water teeming with life. And, with Lonely Planet’s emphasis on sustainable travel this year, it just fits all the better with Vancouver Island’s whole green-focused vibe.

The Island is also the only place in Canada that was bestowed a place on the list, placing 9th out of 10. This year’s top three places picked by Lonely Planet are Westfjords, Iceland, West Virginia, USA, and Xishuangbanna, China. And let us just say, they all look like incredibly beautiful and amazing places to visit as well.
