Haunted Mini Golf Calgary: WinSport’s 18-hole halloween course

Looking for something to do this spooky season in Calgary that isn’t another Haunted House? Haunted Mini Golf is returning to WinSport, with 18 holes filled with decorations and Halloween-themed obstacles.

The course is outdoors, with daytime and evening tee times throughout the season. It’s also family-friendly and licensed for adults who want a drink while they play.

What is Haunted Mini Golf?

According to WinSport, Haunted Mini Golf is an 18-hole outdoor mini golf course decked out with Halloween decorations. The course has eerie obstacles and surprises, but it’s designed to be more creepy than scary.

You won’t find actors jumping out at you or anything like that, so it’s a pretty relaxed activity. You can play all 18 holes at your own pace, and it’s a great activity for families, friends, or a date night.

Since the course is licensed, you can grab a brew while you compete, and snacks will also be available.

What are the mini golf etiquette rules?

There are a few simple rules to keep in mind while you play. Stay on the paths and stick with your group as you move between holes. Also, make sure you don’t go against the traffic flow, especially when the course is busy.

When is Haunted Mini Golf open?

Haunted Mini Golf runs from Saturday, Sept. 26 to Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026.

The regular weekend hours are 1 to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Starting on Oct. 9, Friday nights are also available from 5 to 9 p.m., as part of Winsport’s Fright Night Special.

Additional evening dates are also available on Oct. 22 and Oct. 26 to 29, from 5 to 9 p.m.

The last tee time each night is at 8 p.m.

How much does Haunted Mini Golf cost?

Tickets cost $17 for adults aged 18 to 64, while seniors 65 and older and youth ages 6 to 17 can attend for $15. Preschoolers ages 3 to 5 cost $10, and children two and under can play for free.

Pumpkins After Dark will also be happening simultaneously at WinSport on select dates, and if you’ve already booked a ticket, you can get $2 off your Haunted Mini Golf admission when you walk up and book a tee time. This discount doesn’t apply to online bookings.

WinSport notes that full refunds will be available if Haunted Mini Golf is cancelled due to weather.

Where is Haunted Mini Golf taking place?

Haunted Mini Golf is located at WinSport, on Calgary’s west side near the Trans-Canada Highway. When you arrive, free parking is available across the road from the mini golf course, behind the former Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.

What else do I need to know before I go?

Haunted Mini Golf is an outdoor experience, and with the chillier October weather on the horizon, it’s a good idea to dress in layers and check the forecast before heading out.

And don’t worry about bringing any golf equipment either. Putters and golf balls will be provided, and you’re asked to return the equipment to the pro shop after you finish the 18th hole.
