Just in time for some summer getaways, the world’s largest camping booking website has announced its arrival in Canada! It’s called Hipcamp, and it has revolutionized camping and other nature stays in America. Now, it’s time for Canada to get a piece of the pie. How does it work? Keep reading and find out, folks!

Hipcamp started back in 2013, but it actually wasn’t until 2019 when things really took off, thanks to a partnership that gave them access to the US National Parks camping database. Then, when 2020 hit, they continued to evolve, highlighting local getaways and capturing a real zest to get back into nature. As for 2021? Well, they’ve already been named the most innovative travel company of the year.

So, what are they bringing to the table? A lot, it turns out. Hipcamp Canada is launching with over 500 options for stays, ranging from classic campsites and RV parking to tiny homes and treehouses. These listings are available nationwide, but the majority of them are currently in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.

In addition to the stays, Hipcamp also wants to offer experiences alongside them. Think things like private farm tours, yoga, and horseback riding. Basically, Hipcamp takes all the great parts of camping (beautiful settings, privacy and fun activities) and puts them all in one convenient place. Plus, we’re hopeful that more people sitting on random acreages will sign up for this service.

So, if you’re looking for an amazing getaway this summer, definitely keep this new option in mind. For more info on Hipcamp in Canada, click here to check out the press release.
