Art lovers, take note! Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood is soon transforming with hundreds of artworks, many of which are inspired by the work of globally renowned artist Banksy. Known for his thought-provoking street art, the British artist is undoubtedly one of the most influential artists of our era.

After its successful run in Europe, the U.S., South America, Asia, and Australia, The Art of Banksy Without Limits exhibition is finally making its way to Vancouver, and you don’t have long to wait to check it out.

The acclaimed exhibition consists of 200 artworks total, including over 50 certified Banksy originals.

Event organizers share with me that, “the 50 pieces of art are certified originals authenticated by Pest Control, the only official body that can authenticate a genuine reproduction of Banksy’s work.”

The Vancouver leg of the exhibition will also feature the Western Canadian premiere of a hologram installation, offering visitors a rare glimpse into Banksy’s fascinating artistry and messaging.

Visitors can peruse the hundreds of iconic artworks at their leisure starting this February, which include meticulously reproduced pieces using his signature stencil technique, as well as a mural installation and a video documentary offering visitors a closer look into Banksy’s life and work.
