There's an end of summer street party in Seattle this weekend with cheap bites & live music

Nothing like a little street party to wrap up summer in Seattle, and there is one coming up this weekend. The U District Chow Down & Street Party is scheduled to return on Saturday, bringing an end of season celebration to the area.
According to U District, “The U District celebrates the end of summer with a neighborhood-wide food walk and street party celebration,” and it is taking place on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.
Organizers say you can expect to find affordable small bites from over 70 businesses, which will give you a “true taste of the U District.”
You can try everything from ice cream, noodles, bubble tea, fried chicken, sliders, pretzels, and more!

Formerly called U District Food Walk, this festival includes $5 bites across the neighborhood, along with a street party with live music, games, contests, and more along Univeristy Way / The Ave.
The U District is home to celebrations throughout the year, including the popular Seattle Boba Fest, and the U District Street Fair. Both were epic this year, so we can’t wait for this end of summer street party!
