This Alberta city has ranked among Canada's best places to live in right now

When it comes to finding the perfect place to call home, there is a lot to consider. From crime rates to walkability, it can feel overwhelming – but you’re in luck!
Zolo has released a comprehensive list of the best places in Canada to live in hopes of helping those who are on the fence and if you already reside in Alberta, you might not have to move very far!
“There’s much to consider when determining the best places to live in Canada,” they explained.
“Home prices and household incomes are essential factors, but there are more nuances to consider. Many Canadians want to live in a safe community with high-quality jobs, green spaces, and access to health care providers.”
As far as how they narrowed it down, the real estate platform explains that they chose 37 cities and regions in Canada and then used data from various sources to rank each city from one to 37 in each category, which were weighted.
These include average household income, population growth, unemployment and crime rate, as well as sunny days per year – in addition to home prices.
So who made the cut?
This year, Ottawa, Simcoe (and district), and Guelph (and district) in Ontario topped the list respectively, and in 6th place? Edmonton, whose homes are listed for an average of $390,200 – the most reasonable price of those in the top 10.
