A three-day Asian-owned market with over 35 different vendors is coming to Toronto this month. A weekend full of food, entertainment, handmade goods, and more. Here’s what you should know.

The Welcome Market and Auntie’s Supply have teamed up to bring the exciting pop-up once again following the success of its May event.

From August 18th to August 20th, The Welcome Market will bring more than 35 different vendors and interactive experiences “that celebrates the essence of Asian culture, entrepreneurship, and community support,” according to organizers.

You can expect an array of local API-owned and operated small businesses throughout two floors of the event. Food stalls, handmade products, and curated goods like fashion, art, jewelry, and more.

“We are thrilled to bring the Asian Owned Market to the vibrant streets of Queen West,” said Cindy Chau, Co-Founder of The Welcome Market.

“This event is a testament to the incredible talent and dedication of our fellow Asian business owners, and we’re excited to partner with Christina Pack founder of Auntie’s Supply, in creating an unforgettable experience for our community.”

To kick off the first night of the market, there will be a drag show featuring the Queens of Dim Sum, a collective of Asian drag queens, kings, and talented performers.

You can stop by 938 Queen St West and check out the market for yourself. Let’s support local.
