If you’re a fan of pop-up markets and vintage finds, we’ve got an exciting event coming up to toss your way. The Granville Flea is back with its first event of the year, and it’s all coming together in an effort to save the Beaumont Studios. Peruse local streetwear brands, enjoy live music, and snack on delicious eats from Vennies Sub Shop – all for a great cause.

Nestled in the heart of Mount Pleasant, the Beaumont Studios is truly a haven for creatives in Vancouver, giving artists across the city the opportunity to collaborate and showcase their work in an inclusive environment.

The cause

Currently, the multi-functional space is at risk of closing due to soaring rent and property taxes, which are stifling much of Vancouver’s arts & events scene.

Thankfully, the Granville Flea has partnered with the studios to help save one of the city’s most iconic and diverse community spaces.

You can donate directly to the cause via this crowd-sourced campaign.

The flea market

Known for its popular annual Vintage Expo, the Granville Flea is bringing a wide variety of streetwear, vintage clothing, and collectibles to the Beaumont on Saturday, April 22nd from 10 am to 6 pm. As the largest vintage pop-up in Western Canada, this is definitely a must-visit.

Shoppers can also enjoy NYC deli-style sammies from Vennies Sub Shop between noon and 4 pm, and beats by Beaumont’s own B-Side studios.
