Another day, another new spot to get drinks – except there’s something extra special about Papi Calgary, an upcoming concept on 8th Avenue downtown.

Slated to open this month, Papi is described as a “margarita dance club,” sure to be one-of-a-kind.

Spread out over 2 floors, guests will be encouraged to indulge in tequila, can shake it off at their “discotheque” and can even grab a bite to eat in their secret underground taqueria.

Though they have yet to release a menu or an exact opening date, we will be on the edge of our seats waiting for their big date, after all – what’s not to love?

Here’s to hoping the ambience and drink selection are just as “unique and unprecedented” as they promise they’ll be.

Calgary could always use another place to wind down on the weekends, so we’ll be watching.
