One Toronto woman said goodbye to 2020 with some stellar news. After playing the lottery for 20 years, Deng Pravatoudom became the lucky winner of the $60 million jackpot. Whew, we guess last year wasn’t terrible for everyone! Her winning pick was from the December 1st, 2020 draw.
But here’s the kicker, y’all. Apparently, the numbers she used were something special. Pravatoudom says that she’s been using the same numbers to play the lottery for all 20 years she’s been doing it. Better yet, those numbers came to her husband in a dream. Dang, we wish our dreams brought us $60 million!

These winnings couldn’t have come at a better time for Pravatoudom and her family. At the beginning of the pandemic, the mother of two adult children and grandmother of two was laid off from her job. She was unemployed and hoping for a miracle when she bought the ticket that turned out to be a winner.
Well, her luck certainly did turn around! According to CP24, the lottery winner and her husband plan to move out of their apartment and buy a house. They’ll also be able to pay off some bills, provide a comfier life for their family, and even travel once all the COVID-19 business clears up. All’s well that ends well, right?
