6 vegan-friendly restaurants you need to check Out This Summer

Alright Toronto, with restaurant dining back open, it’s time to get serious about where we’re grabbin’ our next bite. ‘Cause after the hiatus we had, settling for just anything isn’t going to cut it.

So we’ve teamed up with Flora, a plant-based alternative to butter, to bring you a list of six vegan-friendly restaurants in Toronto to add to your summer dining bucket list. ‘Cause let’s face it, nothing says summer dining like some fresh, delicious dishes.

Let’s get to it!

HELLO 123

One thing we know for sure? Brunch is the ultimate weekend meal. That’s why we take finding top spots very seriously. Luckily, Hello 123 never fails as a top plant-based option. Wide menu selection, drinks and all-day brunch. Not too bad!

LOV

It’s almost impossible to think of vegan restaurants in Toronto without thinking of LOV, and for good reason. Not only do they serve up a mean dish and unreal cocktails, but they’ve got a great vibe to go with it. Check ‘em for a nice patio, a stylish interior (when they’re open) and a great time.

Where: 620 King West St

PLANTA BURGER

Anyone who knows us, knows we’re huge fans of Planta Burger. Why? ‘Cause we freaking love burgers and milkshakes. Planta Burger’s entire menu is plant-based and is a must-try for meat eaters and plant eaters alike.

Where: 4 Temperance Street

PARKA FOOD CO.

At Parka Food Co., you’ll find tons of wholesome and delicious plant-based comfort food. Yes, you can use plant-based, wholesome, and comfort food in the same sentence. These eats use all-natural and sustainable ingredients to create their gourmet vegan favourites. With no artificial ingredients or preservatives, this spot is a top choice.

Where: 424 Queen St W

VEGAN BAKERY ON QUEEN

If you’re lookin’ for a vegan spot to satisfy your sweet tooth, Vegan Bakery On Queen is a great spot to do it. Their menu includes a long list of pastries, a lunch menu, lattes, ice cream, birthday cakes and more.

Where: 1312 Queen St West

GREEN HAVEN

When it comes to delicious and innovative vegan dishes, Green Haven has it figured out. Their East Asian inspired menu seriously hits the spots with curries, noodle dishes, fried rice and more. The best part? This fully plant-based menu offers a wide selection of meat-free proteins like Chicken, Fish, Shrimp and Pork.
