With April 20th coming up this week, we thought we’d share some exciting 420 celebrations happening in Vancouver this year. From smaller events throughout the city to the return of Vancouver’s iconic “smoke out” at Sunset Beach, here are 4 ways you can mark the occasion!
420 Vancouver at Sunset BeachÂ

We’ll start with the largest 420 event in the city, which is finally returning to Sunset Beach this year thanks to its new host, Brynn Jones. Get ready for over 500 vendors, live music, and great vibes on Thursday, April 20th from noon until 10 pm.

Puff the Magic Improv ShowÂ
Hosted by Momentous Comedy at The China Cloud on Main Street, Puff is the improv show that “elevates comedy to dragon level.” Described as the “420 hangover show,” now is the perfect time to snag tickets if you’re looking for a comedic pick-me-up following 4/20.

29th Annual Vancouver 4/20 Festival
The 29th annual 420 protest and farmers market will take place at Thornton Park from noon until 8 pm on Thursday, April 20th. Guests can expect to meet multiple guest speakers at the event, as well as the “world’s biggest joint!”
