This week, check out Tokyo Chopsticks, a Shelter YYC takeover featuring Japanese food and ramen crafted by the talented Chef Keisuke of Ikemen Calgary. With unreal items like Japanese curry miso ramen, edamame guacamole, Kabocha pumpkin vege ramen we can guarantee that you won’t leave hungry.

TAKE PART IN BRIDGELAND’S WINTER SCAVENGER HUNT

It’s down to the wire, friends! You’ve only got 3 weeks left to support local, explore the city and breathe in some fresh air during the Bridgeland Arctic Adventure! This week check out their ‘adventure circuit’ which includes harder than you think tasks, like group photos in front of hidden city gems, videos proof of you participating in singalongs and fitness challenges, and a ton more.

After months of uncertainty and closures, the dining scene is finally back, folks! Surprisingly while we were separated, several new places were able to still open their doors for delivery, but now that we’re finally able to enjoy the ambiance. DONATE TO AN ANIMAL SHELTER, BY GRABBING A DRINK

Want to change the world, but aren’t sure how? This week, hit Calgary’s Bitter Sisters and grab a drink! This month, 25 cents from every beer sold will go to Pause For Change, an organization that shelters Alberta Animals and gives them the care that they deserve.

CELEBRATE ST. PADDY’S DAY FROM HOME

This Wednesday, drink, dance, and vibe like no one’s watching! This community event will feature two different DJs, hours of fun, and will put a little bit of a skip back into your step. Times have been tough, why not let loose?

PLAY A ROUND OF INDOOR ‘GOLF’

Winter in Alberta is great, but more often than not these days, we catch ourselves longing for the sun and everything we can do under it – like golf! This week, check out Hotel Arts, where you won’t find acres of green, but you will find a high def screen! Here you can play a few rounds of virtual golf poolside, enjoy a drink or two, and even take lessons from a pro. This really is as good as it gets, Calgary! Check it out.

SKATE OLYMPIC PLAZA

The Calgary Olympic Plaza skating rink is freaking magical, thanks to all the love that the city has put into making it an experience. Here you can glide underneath stars and fairy lights surrounded by a “city-alive” downtown atmosphere and take in the last little bit of the season right.
