GO SHOPPING AT HERITAGE PARK, AFTER DARK

Every weekend until September 4th, Calgarians can spend an evening or two under the stars filling their bags with artisan goods and their stomachs with food and drinks from one of the attraction’s tasty eateries. From clothing to art, Heritage Park’s Night Market will practically have it all, making it what we can only describe as a ‘one-size fits all event,’ and it’s totally FREE!

WERK IT, IN CELEBRATION OF PRIDE

Pride month is here, Calgary and it all kicks off with a series of wild WERK events featuring local legends and Rupaul’s Drag Race icons. Whether you check out Friday’s show after dark, Saturday’s big drag brunch, or Sunday’s high-energy tea we can almost guarantee that you’ll have the time of your life.

STROLL THE 4TH STREET NIGHT MARKET

Another market? You bet your butts! Brought to life by the folks behind a similar event held annually in Inglewood, guests from all over Calgary are encouraged to head over to the 4th street night market to wander, eat, drink and explore – maybe we’ll see you there!

GET FREE ADMISSION TO THE NATIONAL MUSIC CENTRE

So you’d prefer to hide away from the changing season… that’s fine – sometime’s it’s easier to live in denial. Luckily for you, every weekend this month Calgary’s National Music Centre and ATB are actually offering free admission Saturdays and Sundays in celebration of Studio Bell’s 5th anniversary – check out the link above for more information!

GRAB A BITE AT CALGARY’S VEG FEST 

How’s your appetite, Calgary? With over 15,000 guests in 2019, this good and good-for-you festival will feature everything and everyone from restaurant owners, vendors, musicians, performers and speakers! Eat, drink take in a show and enjoy, friends! This only comes around once a year.

GO APPLE PICKING

LOSE YOURSELF IN DRUMHELLER’S T-REX CORN MAZE 

Up for a bit of a drive? The Sunny Spot in Drumheller has an eatery with incredible burgers, an adorable garden market, and is also home to an impressive cornfield where Albertans can exercise their sense of direction. Think you’ve got what it takes to get from point A to point B?
