It’s yet another event-packed week in beautiful Seattle. After a year of pretty much no concerts, this week has not one but four that you can check out among other things. So here are 10 of the best things to do in & around Seattle this week.

Bremerton Blackberry Festival

While technically across the water, Bremerton isn’t the furthest place to adventure to. At this festival you can stroll the boardwalk while sampling baked goods, treats and drinks from the peak of blackberry season. Plus you’ll be able to hear local bands like Ranger & the ReArrangers play live.

Summer Book Bingo

Seattle Public Libraries Adult Summer Bingo is back and better than ever! This year’s summer reading board has book slots like small press, QTBIPOC, Black joy, and more. We highly recommend participating as it’s a great way to check out new books. Plus if you finish your board you can mail it into the library for a chance to win prizes.

Sylvan Esso

If you’re looking for a feel good concert this week, considering tuning into Sylvan Esso. The pop duo is performing their electric tunes at Marymoor Park in what is sure to be a beautiful concert. We recommend getting your hands on tickets ASAP in order to avoid disappointment.

Lindsey Stirling: Artemis Tour North America 2021

Violin star Lindsey Stirling is bringing her tunes to Seattle on her North America tour. If you want to tune back into the early 2010’s this might just be the concert for you. Could be kinda fun!

Tinder Live! With Lane Moore

Have you ever wanted to swipe on someone else’s tinder account? Well you can kinda do that with this comedy show by Lane Moore. It’s all improvised and you never know just who will pop up on Moore’s tinder. Give your input on swiping left or right and see the hilarious results.

Dance Gavin Dance

Music that “fully indulges the extremes of creativity” definitely sounds compelling. Dance Gavin Dance mixes progressive rock and post-hardcore for a sound that’s uniquely their own. If you want a concert with new music this might just be the one for you.

Tame Impala with Perfume Genius

Get to the Gorge to experience everyone’s favorite psych-rock band Tame Impala. If you haven’t seen a concert yet this year, this is a great way to return to concert-going. Because let’s face it, chances are that you already know all the words to their songs.

Washington State Fair

The one and only Washington State Fair is back this year with a whole lot to do and see. Like years past you can enjoy rides, farm animals and all sorts of tasty food. Plus you can hear concerts from musicians like Carrie Underwood, Salt-N-Peppa, Sublime and more.

Pike Place Express Market South Lake Union

Did you know that Pike Place Market has an express market? Seems like not many people do! It’s located in South Lake Union and is back for a limited time and definitely worth checking out. Once a week grab fresh produce, flowers products, and more from local vendors.
