Zoinks! This Canadian has the largest collection of Scooby-Doo memorabilia in the world

Sunday mornings are sacred, however, while we love rolling out of bed to get mimosa drunk at brunch, it was actually waking up in our youth to eat Captain Crunch and watch cartoons that really made those mornings so magical. Like so many other kids in the 90s, it actually was the Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang that got us up and dressed on the weekends and if we’re being honest, we’re pretty sure that nothing will ever compare to watching a new episode with a mouth full of cereal.

In fact, we’d do anything to capture that Scooby-Doo brand of excitement in a bottle… well, almost anything.

As any proper millennial with a passion for media will tell you, memorabilia is one of many ways that you’re able to preserve the spirit and hype around a show – but is there such thing as too much OR….. is there simply ‘not enough?’

From collectible Funko-Pops and colouring books to stuffed animals and belt buckles, a collector – especially that of such an iconic show – will buy, love, and take pride in literally anything and everything.

With over 1,800 pieces, it’s Alberta’s Danielle Meger who has done what we thought was impossible and actually earned a place in the Guinness Book Of World Records for the largest collection of Scooby-Doo-related items on the entire globe.

“Danielle is a life-long Scooby-Doo fan who began collecting at 14 years old. Danielle chose to break this record to have something to show for her hard work and to demonstrate how a simple thing, like loving a cartoon, can lead you to accomplish amazing things,” GBOWR said on their official website.

Of course, because it’s been quite some time there could be another out there who dreams of snagging the top spot, but it won’t be easy.

After all, it’s been 3 whole years since she was awarded the esteemed Guinness plaque.

How many more Doo-related items does she have now? That’s a question that we fear only 4 ageless teens and a talking dog could answer.
