Every neighbourhood has a family that goes above and beyond during the holidays. In Auburn Bay, it’s the Fauser’s – who have quite the reputation for having one of Calgary’s best residential Christmas light displays.
Succeeding even the darkest blackout shades, this YYC family typically decorated their home with over 14,000 lights last year – but that’s not even the best part.
Although their home is already the brightest on the block, they regularly go one step further – synchronizing their LEDs to a medley of Chrismtas music for a half-hour show that families can watch for free from behind the wheel.

According to their Facebook Page, last year they saw thousands of vehicles come through and even managed to do some good in the process.
Due to the pandemic (and because they now have a golden opportunity to make a difference), last year they began taking donations for Operation Chrismtas Child, raising over $500 in 2020, which is pretty cool.
Sadly as of right now, they don’t have an official kick-off date but we can expect one soon as they’re mostly set up for the season.
Of course, we’ll keep you all updated as more information rolls in so keep checking because you won’t want to miss it. It really is one of the best residential Christmas light displays in Calgary.!
