You can ‘rally at the alley’ once again as one of Calgary’s iconic clubs reopens next month

They’re back, alley-cats! Calgary’s iconic Macleod Trail nightclub just announced that after over a year, they’ve polished their dancefloor and are gearing up to reopen, this time (with a little bit of luck) for good!

As many of you will remember, the Alley made a major comeback after 7 long years, reclaiming its original location off of Macloed Trail in December of 2019.

Sadly, due to the pandemic, their return was short-lived and they closed their doors once again in March – but oh, have times changed!

This September, night owls are encouraged to return to the historic venue where they can let loose, attend a concert or two, indulge in $3 drinks during power hour and toss a napkin in celebration of yet another epic party – but that’s not all!

In addition to old favourites, the club will also launch ‘Friday Night Live,’ a weekly talent showcase from 8 pm – 10:30 pm featuring some of the city’s best up-and-coming artists.

“We are so excited to bring Calgary exactly what they want and need after such a long hiatus,” said Nicole O’Neill, the Back Alley’s Assistant General Manager in a release.

Also, for those looking for a job, they also announced that they’d be holding a hiring fair on August 15th in hopes of finding the perfect staff to usher in what is sure to be an insane crowd of post-pandemic thrill-seekers.

So, let loose, friends! This fall is going to be a loud one.
