You can enjoy free fishing and FREE park-use this weekend in Ontario

In case ya’ll forgot Father’s Day is basically here. The big day is happening on June 20th and in celebration of that, Ontario is doing something pretty dang cool. On June 19th and 20th you’ll be able to explore Ontario parks for free and even enjoy some free fishing!

This weekend you’ll be able to fish without purchasing a license and go to a provincial park without an Outdoors Card. Pretty sweet right? It’s a great way for families to enjoy the outdoors together and create unforgettable new memories. Who knows, there might just be a lot of master anglers out there.

Now if you do decide to go fishing keep in mind that you will have to follow catch limits, size limits, and obey sanctuaries, as well as all other fishing regulations. But if you’d rather just explore a park you’ll be able to pick from 17 select provincial parks. So you can do both or one, the choice is up to you!
