You can check out welcome back celebration in Seattle’s CID this weekend

Remember a few weeks back when we mentioned the Seattle “Welcome Back Weeks”? Well, they’re finally here with a new name, “Welcome Back Seattle and the first one is happening this weekend in the Chinatown International District. Let’s get into the deets.

This celebration is the first of many to help welcome people back into Seattle’s downtown which has been sort of like a ghost town throughout the pandemic. To do this, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture is holding a two-day celebration of local food and culture at Hing Hay Park. That means you’ll be able to enjoy cultural performances, live music, and performances from artists like Hollis, Chong the Nomad, and more!

And if you haven’t gotten your vaccine yet, there will also be a vaccination pop-up. You can really do it all this weekend and if you’re busy that’s no worries because you also have the Pioneer Square and Westlake welcome back events to check out. If you can we absolutely recommend checking them all out.

With that be sure to get down to Hing Hay Park this weekend. Consider also shopping at local stores or treating yourself to a meal at a local restaurant. After all, these businesses need our help and we might as well make it a part of the celebration! You can learn more by clicking below.
