You can catch a live drive-in dance show in downtown Calgary this weekend!

Warmer weather is upon us and with COVID precautions still in place that can only mean one thing! This spring, distance-friendly events like the DJD Drive-in Dance Show will be taking over Calgary and we could not be more excited OR ready!

Over the last year, we’ve been incredibly lucky to see companies that have been willing and creative enough to introduce a new wave of entertainment, unlike anything we’ve ever really seen in our lifetimes.

Though we are old enough to remember catching a double feature at the drive-in with our parents, organizations like Decidedly Jazz Danceworks have taken the outdoor experience to new heights during the pandemic.

This Thursday, March 18th, Friday, March 19th, and Saturday the 20th, Calgarians looking to get out and about are encouraged to attend There Is Something In the Details, a live show choreographed by DJD co-founder Michèle Moss.

This performance will take place in the windows of the DJD studio and can be heard clear as day by tuning into 104.7 FM on your car radio.

Also, not only will guests see an incredible piece, which really embodies the craziness of the last year, they’ll also be able to participate in a trivia game at intermission. Fun, hey?
