Yonge & Dundas is getting even brighter thanks to this new development plan

When most people think of Toronto, one of the most iconic locations that comes to mind is Yonge & Dundas Square. This spot is a well-known tourist destination, a hot spot for retail and restaurants, and, of course, home to the biggest and brightest billboards in the city. Well, now the area is getting even brighter, thanks to the latest from Branded Cities.

So Branded Cities is one of North America’s leading Out-of-Home media companies. They’re responsible for most of the ads  already on display in Downtown Canada. But now they’ve partnered with Rogers Sports & Media to re-develop the Rogers Tower at Toronto’s Citytv Studio. As you may know, this spot is right smack in the middle of the busy intersection.

So what have they got in store? Sometime within July-September 2021, Branded Cities will install a massive 34ft x 90ft digital display at 33 Dundas St E. The sign will offer 10-second ad spots on a 3-minute loop, to be broadcast to the thousands of folks who populate the square daily. The area that’s already brightly lit by never-ending ads, will be even brighter than ever before.

If you’d like to learn more about this project, you can follow along on the official website here. This new project is sure to make an already-iconic spot even more memorable.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
