Be happy, campers! As per an announcement made only a few weeks ago, Alberta Parks will now allow campsite bookings all year round and reservations open on January 11.
Whether you’re a glamper or the back-woodsy type, those looking to get out and into the fresh air anywhere across the province will no longer have to endure a mad dash to the Alberta Parks website come springtime.
No matter the month, we prairie folk will be able to book up to 90 days (180 for large groups) before their preferred staycation, with a maximum of 10 days.

According to AP, this is being done to help reduce booking changes, overbooking and no-shows which tends to happen when people reserve under pressure. In addition to this, it will give more Albertans the opportunity to go camping in our beautiful provincial parks.
