Canadians can apply for the ‘world’s easiest job’ & it’s in a tropical paradise

Dream job alert! The sunny island of Aruba is now recruiting for the “world’s easiest job” and all you need is a bit of creativity and a good sense of humour.

The Aruba Tourism Authority (ATA) is inviting candidates to apply to be their weatherperson for a limited time.

Luckily, the job requires minimal effort, as the island stays warm and breezy all year round. It also has more sunny days than any other island in the Caribbean.

Sun-seekers are now invited to apply for the week-long gig, which includes an all-expenses paid trip to the island of course.

“Aruba is blessed to have consistently clear, sunny skies, making it the perfect destination for visitors to explore and enjoy any time of the year,” said the CEO of the ATA, Ronella Croes, in a press release.

The chosen candidate will be reporting live from paradise and sharing their weather report on social media.

“You’ll be featured on Aruba’s social channels while you soak up the sun, sip on a drink, and remind everyone that the weather never changes in Aruba,” the description says.

If you’re picked, you’ll get to live in style at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort, which is located across from one of the best beaches in the Caribbean.

As part of the application, you will have to submit a 30-second audition clip of your best Aruba weather report from home.

Be sure to have some fun with it, because the ATA will be looking for the most “memorable” videos to choose their new weatherperson.

You have until March 31st, 2023 to apply for the world’s easiest job and you can do so right here.

Good luck!
