One of Canada’s most iconic Christmas trees is about to come back to life. As part of Mic Mac Mall’s holiday celebrations in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Woody the Talking Christmas tree will be awaken this week.

Besides its annual Santa visits, Woody will join the festivities along with the Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency teams, and they will greet families and lead this tradition of waking up Woody with the help of the crowd cheering.

The waking celebration takes place on November 18, and guests who attend will receive “a free seedling with growing instructions to keep Woody’s spirit alive at home.”
