Toronto’s getting a new outdoor skating rink with winter cabins & fire pits

You won’t have to travel far to experience a winter cottage retreat this year. Toronto’s largest outdoor patio is transforming into a winter wonderland with a massive skating rink and wooden cabins with fire pits.

Winterviews presented by RendezViews is a new outdoor experience that combines a cottage retreat experience and winter wonderland.

The outdoor space will be taken over by a massive synthetic skating rink, 10 private dining cabins, and a cozy communal lodge.

According to organizers, all of the cabins and communal lodge were built by GRIPBlock – recyclable and reusable wooden blocks. In addition to that, the synthetic rink will be the largest Glice Eco Rink in Toronto this season.

“This amazing rink which works in all weather uses zero water, requires no energy, and therefore has no CO2 emissions,” shares organizers.
