A ‘cool’ festival with live music & colourful performances is coming to Edmonton this winter

In the dead of winter, the City of Champions will come to life! This January, Winterruption will return to Edmonton, Alberta with live music, drag performances, and comedians, but there are a few things to note.

What to expect

Founded in 2019, this epic festival celebrates inclusivity, diversity, and the magic of local businesses, all in hopes of warming you from the inside out.

Interested?

During this particular event, those looking for community are encouraged to enjoy a series of concerts in every genre, in addition to free outdoor activities, and colourful entertainers like queens and funny folk.

Spread out over 10 downtown venues, including the Starlight Room and 99ten, Winterruption will host family-friendly shenanigans, as well as 18+ outings with no shortage of opportunities to make a few memories along the way.

This year, the lineup is extensive, with artists from Alberta, Canada, and all over the world.
