This park in Ontario is offering enchanted winter walks with stunning illuminated art

If a picturesque wintery stroll illuminated by art pieces in a park sounds like the perfect way to spend an evening, then we’d agree with you!

Located in Mountsberg Conservation Park, about an hour and a half from Toronto, Winterlit is an award-winning display of outdoor lights celebrating nature, winter, and community.

Winterlit features two twinkling trails – the Sugar Bush and the Winterlit Trail featuring illuminated art installations with Fireside Lounges located in various spots throughout.

Love to read? Bring a book you’ve finished to Winterlit to swap for a ‘new to you’ read in the cozy Book Nook cabin.

You can also get artsy for a good cause! Purchase a heart to paint and then hang it on the LOVE display or take it to display at your own home. All proceeds go to their Animal Care Fund and supports the farm animals, raptors, and snakes.

If you’re in the mood to learn something new, add Owl Prowl to your reservation and join the knowledgeable Raptor Centre staff for a meet and greet with one of the park’s live owl ambassadors, then head out for a night hike to check the owls out!

Admission for non-members is $22 for an adult, $19 for a child or senior, and free for children 4 and under.

Winterlit also puts on special events for New Year’s Eve and Valentine’s Day called Enchanted Evenings. These experiences come with even more to do and see like an Ice Bar where you can grab drinks, local food vendors, and even live musical performances.

Put on your parka and go enjoy a magical snowy evening!
