Tuft Time Studio is Edmonton’s newest tufting studio, offering a haven for artists, crafters and anyone curious about the meditative art of tufting and fibre arts. Here, you tuft an entire piece, starting at $98, spending four to five hours with your partner just creating.

For only $30 extra, you both can take turns tufting a design you chose together!

Ride a horse-drawn wagon at Fort Edmonton Park

In this one-hour experience, you can be dragged along a horse-driven wagon in the gorgeous river valley. If you’re looking for a more intimate experience, private rides are available upon request.

Skate to a live DJ at Edmonton’s City Hall

Winter City Weekends is the perfect date night opportunity.

In January and February, there’s going to be a long list of DJ performances, free skating, free dancing, and so much more. You don’t just have to plan your date for one day; you can go the entire weekend, every weekend.

Spend a special day at the Muttart Conservatory

The Muttart Conservatory is Edmonton’s own gorgeous botanical gardens, which change every couple of months. This month’s theme for the feature pyramid is Prehistoric Paradise, featuring dinosaurs everywhere the eye can see.

You can also join them on Valentine’s Day for extended Adult Only (18+) hours. You’ll be able to enjoy the botanicals and projections at night, as well as local artist Dana Wylie playing music amongst the plants.
